Ryan is a lifelong resident of Niagara. He completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and a Masters Degree in Political Science at Brock University. He then went on to complete a Juris Doctor Degree at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto.
Ryan began his career representing insurance companies at a boutique defence firm in Hamilton. In 2016, he returned to St. Catharines and shifted his focus towards representing injured victims alongside a prominent personal injury lawyer.
In 2018, Ryan opened his own litigation practice under the mentorship of Kenneth Douglas and Robert Morningstar. The partnership of Douglas, Morningstar & Bonin was formed the following year.
Ryan has tailored his practice to suit the needs of his community. His practice areas include Family Law, General Civil Litigation, Corporate & Commercial Law, Real Estate, Wills and Estates, and Notary and Commission Services. He also accepts a limited number of legal aid certificates.
Outside of practice, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He also sits on the board of directors of the Lincoln County Law Association and is a part-time professor at Niagara College.
