Robert Morningstar

Background

Robert ("Bob") is a graduate of the University of Toronto (Victoria College) and the University of Toronto Law School. Bob practices in residential and commercial real estate law (purchases, sales, and mortgages), wills and estates, and corporate commercial and business law. While Bob has had in the past considerable civil litigation experience, even as far as earlier in his career arguing cases in the Ontario Court of Appeal on many occasions, he now prefers the solicitor's work involved with real estate, wills and estates (including powers of attorney) and corporate commercial law.

On a personal note, Bob was born and raised in Niagara: the Morningstar family dairy farm in rural Niagara Falls, owned by the Morningstar family since 1881, is still occupied by its current 'matriarch", and is where extended family and friends gather around the pool all summer long. Bob has always had a great interest in the arts and has served on various arts committees or boards during his career, as well as participated in live performances as a choral singer (tenor) and actor. He is a proud "Paul Harris fellow" from many years as an active member of the Rotary Club of St. Catharines Lakeshore, as well as a member of the United Church of Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Lincoln County Law Association.

Robert prides himself in bringing to his law practice the Rotarian fundamental principles of the "four-way test" and the philosophy of "Service Above Self," endeavouring to be always approachable and friendly in his practice of law, while at the same time offering his many clients superior and efficient legal services which are affordable to all.
